Sylvie Meis about Damián, Niclas and her dream wedding

A marriage often brings the necessary stress for both bride and groom and that is no different for Sylvie Meis. In a few weeks she will tie the knot with her sweetheart Niclas Castello, but she has a lot of worries because of the corona virus. Add to that the fact that her son Damián recently moved to Denmark and you understand: Syl is currently going through an emotional rollercoaster. She tells everything about it on RTL Boulevard.

“I feel I would prefer to get married next week”

It has now been a few weeks since Damián moved to his father in Denmark. Despite the fact that Sylvie still speaks to her son a lot, she has a very difficult time with it. “I just have to get used to not being able to spend the usual days with him. The usual days when I come back from work and he usually has already finished his homework and trained.” It’s those small, simple family moments that Sylvie misses, like having breakfast together or going through the day at dinner during dinner. “That’s something I don’t have right now.”

Still, Sylvie remains positive. “On the other hand, when I see him, I really do quality time have with him. “On the weekends she visits her son in his new home Esbjerg.” It is a new situation. To be honest, I still have to get used to it. For me it is still quite emotional. I can’t drive out there without crying. “Despite her tears, she is convinced that it is the best for Damián.” He now needs his father to make his dream come true. He has to go for that. “

Fortunately, Sylvie can count on the support of her son. “He knows he has to pull his mama through it.” Damián is very sensitive according to a proud Sylvie. He calls her a lot. “That makes me very good.”

The wedding

“I am a bit stressed, I must say,” the bride-to-be replies when we ask her about her wedding. “Due to corona, everything has been delayed a bit.” One of the biggest issues is the dress. Sylvie will wear four different dresses during the four-day party in Italy, but the dress has still not arrived in Germany from Tel-Aviv. “My real couture ceremony dress.” Sylvie reveals that she still has three weeks to arrange everything. “It’s exciting.”

Of course, Syl is also afraid that the corona virus will still throw a spanner in the works. “It could be completely different in three weeks.” She thinks it’s too naive to think it’s just going to happen. “Every week that passes is a week that I am grateful that everything is still open and that it is still possible. I feel I would prefer to get married next week, because then I am almost 100% sure that I can get married.”

Niclas

There is sometimes a skepticism about the love life of La Meis. She has had several relationships, and not all of them last. She knows her future Niclas is in the right place, also because they have a common passion: traveling. “Fortunately in that respect I have found someone who has the same lifestyle as me.” Not only do they both love to travel, but they also love the same places. Take Miami for example. “Hopefully we can go there again this year.”

In October, Sylvie announced that she and Niclas are engaged. They had only known each other for a few months, but their love should be sealed in three weeks with a dream wedding in Florence, Italy.
