Strong plus in December
In December 2022 alone, 1.90 million passengers flew through Zurich Airport. This corresponded to an increase of 80 percent compared to the same month last year. Compared to the value in December 2019, the number of passengers was 82 percent. The number of local passengers reached 1.29 million and the number of transfer passengers 0.61 million, corresponding to a share of 32 percent.
