Suzuki Boxing Night II. Andrzej Wasilewski on the rematch of Radczenko – Szpilka: We want to do it at the end of the year or at the beginning of next

Andrzej Wasilewski does not rule out organizing Szpilka’s fight with Włodarczyk and Radczenka. The well-known promoter also emphasizes that the Olympic boxing lacks names that could make a professional career.

The head of the Knockout Promotion group was present at the Friday Suzuki Boxing Night II gala in Kielce. Sergei Radchenko presented himself in the evening fight, who lost with Mateusz Masternak by unanimous decision of the judges. Wasilewski does not rule out that the Ukrainian will face Szpilka for the second time this year.

– We want to do it at the end of the year or at the beginning of next year. First, however, Artur must be in optimal form, then Mr. Radczenko must show some financial sense, because he is inflated to the rank of a national hero in Poland, and then we can organize this fight – said Wasilewski in an interview with bokser.org

The promoter also did not rule out that in the near future there may be another hit fight involving Szpilka. He can face Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk.

– If a Włodarczyk – Szpilka fight is ever to take place, it’s probably only in 2021. They are both on the last straight of their careers, and since there is an opportunity to generate a lot of interest in such a fight, then maybe it really makes sense. Over time, I became convinced of this idea, which I didn’t like at first – he admitted.
