Susy Díaz Reveals She Covered $900 Monthly Rent for Flor Polo and Néstor Villanueva‘s Miraflores Apartment
Peruvian actress and former congresswoman Susy Díaz recently disclosed she financially supported her daughter, Flor Polo Díaz, and ex-son-in-law, Néstor Villanueva, by covering the $900 monthly rent for their apartment in the Miraflores district of Lima. The revelation came during an appearance on the programme El Valor de la Verdad (the value of Truth), where Díaz answered affirmatively to a question regarding the rental assistance.
Díaz explained her decision stemmed from a desire to help her daughter and grandson during a financially challenging period for Flor Polo. “I did it more for my daughter Florcita and my grandson,” she stated. “Since her daddy got sick, I got her an apartment near her house. Nine hundred dollars a month. My daughter wasn’t billing much. As a mother, she supports her children a lot, so I said: okay, look for it and I’ll pay for it.”
The couple resided in the Miraflores apartment for approximately two years before relocating to a building where Flor Polo’s father, augusto Polo Campos, lived.
Following the separation of Polo and villanueva, Díaz described a strained relationship with her former son-in-law. She alleges Villanueva sent her a notarized letter demanding 500,000 soles, claiming she had spoken negatively about him.”I supported them, but then, as things happened, he sent me a notarized letter asking for 500 thousand soles because he said that I had spoken badly about him,” Díaz recounted. “So, I said: speak badly about what? Such as, I have the rental contracts for the apartment. If you ask me, I tell the truth. Now I try to mention it as little as possible.”
