Two men have been convicted of distributing a pee sex video by Patricia Paay in 2017. They have been given a suspended prison sentence of one month and a suspended community service of 50 hours respectively.
According to the judge, the men were guilty of insult and copyright infringement. “By posting the explicit sex video on social media, Patricia Paay has been deliberately portrayed in an unfavorable light, affecting her honor and reputation,” said the judge. The men were cleared of libel.
The judge found that both men had to wait a very long time for their trial, writes Flevoland broadcaster. He therefore opted for a suspended sentence, which only needs to be carried out if the convicted person does not comply with certain conditions.
