Juarez City- Through social networks, the Labor lawyer Susana Prieto Terrazas reported that today she met with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who made her aware of the political persecution by the PAN governments of Tamaulipas and Chihuahua.
He reported that 24 hours after receiving his letter, the president granted him a hearing in which he gave orders that the Ministry of the Interior and Social Work and Social Welfare be present to find out the details.
“It was a pleasure, he is a very simple and kind man … I hope there were no heart-stopping runaways,” he wrote.
On July 15, with blankets and slogans accusing him of “tyrant, corrupt and miserable”, dozens of members of the Union of Workers of Industries and Services (Sntis) Movimiento Obrero Matamorense 20/32 accompanied the lawyer Susana Prieto Terrazas to demonstrate in front of the Chihuahua Representation in this city to demand an end to the harassment and political persecution by Governor Javier Corral.
Amid slogans such as “Javier Corral Jurado, you are a wretch, take the charges from Susana that you have invented”, the labor leaders asked to drop the charges against the Sntis lawyer defending labor rights, as well as his acquittal total.
The protesters asked that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador fulfill his promise to take the corrupt to jail, “the Federal Government must realize that there is impunity and corruption in this house (Representation of Chihuahua), it is not possible that the power judicial with so many crimes that are dedicated to persecuting workers, social fighters, defense attorney. “
