“We should put more emphasis on freedom and entrepreneurship”

Asked what the staff of Andrzej Duda must do to make him win the second round, Gowin replied that “we need maximum mobilization of all activists, all supporters of the United Right”.

He emphasized that “it is worth considering the reasons for the good results of Szymon Hołownia and Krzysztof Bosak”. – We should put more emphasis on freedom and entrepreneurship, as emphasized by Szymon Hołownia and Krzysztof Bosak – he noted.

He stated that among the people who voted for the Confederation’s candidate, “there is a large group of these young, very libertarian voters”. – On the other hand, there is a group of voters very attached to traditional values. For both groups, President Andrzej Duda is a better choice than Rafał Trzaskowski – argued the former deputy prime minister.

“Worldview war is the last thing Poland needs”

The President of the Agreement was asked whether in his opinion the result of Andrzej Duda was influenced by the ideological issues raised by him in the campaign.

“The worldview war is the last thing Poland needs,” said the former deputy prime minister. However, he stated that “it is not the conservative side that is aggressive in this dispute.” “The aggressive side are those who are spokesmen for the worldview revolution,” he said.

“I am convinced that our coalition will survive”

The President of the Agreement was also asked about his own political future in a situation where Andrzej Duda would lose the second round of elections. – I will be very sorry, but this is the price of democracy – said the former deputy prime minister. I led to the fact that the elections in Poland are held in fully democratic conditions. I also think that we had much more time to prepare for them from the epidemic. I did my part – he argued.

He assured that he “definitely doesn’t regret” that he was trying to postpone the election date, originally scheduled for May 10. “That was my duty,” he said. He assessed that the fact that “we differed in an important matter” with the PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński “is not a reason to end cooperation.” – In the autumn of last year, the United Right camp received a mandate from Poles, and thus a certain obligation to rule until 2023 – he said.

– I am convinced that our coalition will survive – assured the guest “Kropki nad i”.
