SURHUIZUM – At the festival Surhuizum Open Air, abbreviated SOA, it was the turn of three rock groups on Friday evening. The festival started at 6 p.m., just when the last rain shower had left. Under bright skies it was Blazuh’s turn first. Then the band Wieke Rocks took the stage, followed by Queen Legends. The latter band came from Italy and covered songs by the famous English rock band.
About 1500 spectators attended the festival on this Friday evening. The same number of visitors are expected on Saturday evening. Tickets are still available at the box office.
The bands performing on Saturday are: The Veins, Bladecrusher, The Art of Panthera, Van Hagar, Incusion Dementa, and finally Player.
