The 2021 Support decree provides for a discount for three months – from 1 April to 30 June – on electricity bills, for a value of 600 million euros, and a 30% reduction in the RAI fee for the whole of 2021. The measures dedicated to premises, shops and other activities are illustrated in the technical report that accompanies the dl. The dossier explains that “the Regulatory Authority for energy, networks and the environment, with its own provisions, decides to reduce the costs incurred by low voltage electricity users, other than domestic uses, with reference to the bill codes identified as’ transport and management of the meter ‘and’ general system charges ” “.
The Authority will have to “temporarily redetermine the distribution tariffs for electricity metering and the components to cover general system charges, to be applied from 1 April to 30 June”.
There is also a “30% reduction for 2021 in the radio-audition subscription fee for accommodation facilities and for the administration and consumption of beverages in public places or open to the public”. The charges deriving from the measure amounted to 25 million euros.
