The duo tried to strike around 8.30 pm in the Albert Heijn on the Gijsbrecht van Amstelstraat in Hilversum. However, the staff and bystanders managed to put a stop to this, the police reported. The robbers were detained and then arrested by officers.
There were no injuries. Forensic investigation is still investigating on the spot.
