**Randle** Recovers After Race Day Scare
Following a recent race, driver Thomas Randle experienced a health scare, raising immediate concern among his Tickford Racing team. The incident occurred post-race, during a routine cool-down, yet thankfully, a swift recovery ensued. The event highlights the physical demands of the sport.
Unexpected Onset
The incident occurred after Randle exited his vehicle, according to his own account. He felt fine initially, but during an ice bath, he became lightheaded and lost color. He quickly exited the bath and rested, consuming sugar to recover.
Randle stated that he had not felt that way before. He also mentioned his fitness levels. He expressed gratitude that the team’s physiotherapist, Brad Sampson, was on hand. No medical professionals were required.
Tough Race Day for the Team
Randle’s race day was difficult. He only managed a 19th-place finish in his Castrol Mustang. He noted the team struggled with pace throughout the weekend, mostly focusing on the rear of the vehicle.
“We were pretty much just chasing the same things all weekend in the rear of the car. And it’s so competitive now that if you are just out of the window…,”
