Management of PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk said it had not received an official notification regarding lawsuit Postponement of Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU) by Wibowo and Partners to the Central Jakarta Commercial Court.
Director of Ace Hardware Indonesia Sugianto Wibawa confirmed that his company has a partnership in the form of legal services or legal service agreement from Wibowo and Partners.
However, he stressed the outstanding obligation, namely monthly arrears of IDR 10 million.
“Related legal service agreement We can say that between PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk and Wibowo and Partners there is a monthly legal service agreement (retainer) worth Rp. 10 million, “Sugianto said in an official letter uploaded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange’s public information disclosure page, Wednesday (7/10).
Sugianto said that Ace Hardware Indonesia will immediately take a stand after receiving an official notification of the lawsuit. Meanwhile, currently the company management is appealing to the public and investors to be wise in responding to the news.
“Currently, Ace hardware Indonesia has a very good performance and continues to operate as usual. That is the information we convey,” he concluded.
As is known, the lawsuit letter to PKPU against Ace Hardware Indonesia was registered with PKPU application number 329 / Pdt.Sus-PKPU / 2020 / PN Niaga Jkt Pst on October 6, 2020.
Attorney Wibowo and Partners Fajar Ardianto said that his party had tried to communicate with Ace Hardware’s management, including sending summons. However, the related management has not yet responded to the payment of lawyer services that are in arrears since November 2019.
