September 26 is Oleg Basilashvili’s birthday. This actor was awarded for a long time, it was difficult, because personal problems added to the failures of the creative plan.
Let’s talk about personal problems, about Basilashvili’s marriage with Tatyana Doronina.
According to Doronina, who has been married five times, Basilashvili was the smartest of her husbands. Already in this recognition there was a hitch, because yes, Basilashvili’s father was the director of a technical school, her mother was a philologist, author of a textbook on the Russian language for teachers. Of course, they wanted a more adventurous bride for their son. In the young family there was immediately a discord on the basis of the diversity of the characters of Oleg’s mother and his wife.
And in general, Oleg seemed to consider the period of courtship for Tatyana a lost time. Due to wandering through the streets, he didn’t read important books “,but time went on and on – in vain, I grew neither in mind, nor in knowledge, nor in talent.
Doronina and Basilashvili studied in the same course at the Moscow Art Theater School. The wedding was played in 1955, on the set of the film “The First Echelon”, where the then young Oleg Efremov (became a dead father), a couple Isotta Izvitskaya and Eduard Bredun (HIM, SHE AND VODKA), Alexey Kozhevnikov (SAMURAI FROM “QUEEN OF GAS STATION”), Elsa Lezhdey (NOVEL “MENTOVSHI”), the first husband of Fedoseeva-Shukshina Vyacheslav Voronin.
In 1956 Dooronina and Basilashvili graduated from the school. They were not brought to the company of the Moscow Art Theater, but they were not brought in different ways. Once again, Doronina was invited to the Mayakovsky Theater in Moscow and the Aleksandrinka in Leningrad, Basilashvili was assigned to Stalingrad. Basilashvili received one of the main roles in the film adaptation of Chekhov’s “The Bride” (1956), shot by Georgy Nikulin and Vladimir Shredel (SOVIET WOOD. THE DIRECTOR WHO BELIEVES DIFFERENT AND CONVINCES THE OTHERS). Filming took place in Murom, and Doronina went there. In Murom, she was greeted with rumors about her husband’s relationship with a colleague. The rival, according to Doronina, led with his legitimate wife with “the kindness of a cowardly bitch. ” The offended actress left for Volgograd, where she discovered she was pregnant. Since she no longer trusted her her husband, she went to have an abortion.
It is not clear how, after such events, Doronina and Basilashvili continued to exist as a family, but the fact remains that for a long time they walked side by side, conquering the public. At first it was just Doronina, she turned out much better.
In the Stalingrad theater, the couple did not stay long in December 1956, entering the company of the St. Petersburg theater named after Lenin Komsomol. Evaluating this somersault, Basilashvili will say: “Let it be. If only where. Indeed, it was on the stage of this theater that they both flourished.
Doronina made her debut in the Volodin comedy “The Factory Girl”. Basilashvili successfully appeared in Rozov’s play In Search of Joy. He was about family conflicts and the actor said: “Here my emotional memory worked – on conflicts in my own family. I don’t know about the furniture, but the status of a person who was unsuccessfully trying to reconcile his mother and wife was extremely close to me and I felt like a fish in the water in this role … Tanya played Lenochka and it was easy for myself.
It was easy for him in the role of Goncharov’s Oblomov, because he had to play love for Olga, who was played by Tatyana.
The couple was lured to Moscow at the Yermolova Theater, but Tatyana decided to stay at the BDT, where Tovstonogov himself called her. Doronina made it a condition that she would go only with her husband.
At first it seemed that this passage was a mistake for Basilashvili. The production of Gorky’s “Barbarians” turned into a triumph for Doronina and a failure for her husband.
