The Main Pharmaceutical Inspectorate deals with:
- Withdrawal, suspension, use of medicinal products in health care facilities, hospitals, pharmaceutical wholesalers, pharmacies, pharmacy outlets and herbal medicine stores.
- Suspending or withdrawing products from pharmaceutical wholesalers and generally accessible pharmacies in the event of suspicion or finding that a given product is unacceptable, prohibited or not constituting quality requirements for sale throughout the country.
- The supervision also conducts full control over the granting, changes, withdrawals, refusal to grant an authorization to run a pharmacy, pharmaceutical wholesaler, manufacture of medicinal products, and advertise medicines.
