Munich/Vienna/Graz – In the university cities of Munich, Vienna and Graz, the WIFO – Institute for Economic Research of the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano organized the “Talent Aperitivo” series of events from 21 to 23 November. 37 South Tyrolean companies and 200 interested students took part in the networking event. The event is part of the Work in South Tyrol/South Tyrol initiative to prevent labor shortages and to position South Tyrol as an attractive country for employers.

The third edition of Talente Aperitivo was held in Munich, Vienna and Graz. Over the three dates, not only students but also young professionals had the opportunity to get in touch with South Tyrolean companies from different sectors and get to know their fields of activity .

At the same time, company representatives learned more about the students’ skills and potential. Several islands of conversation and a subsequent drink ensured a relaxed atmosphere.

The cycle of events aims to offer companies and students the opportunity for long-term contact, from which internships, collaborations in the context of a thesis or even concrete job opportunities will then develop. Companies can thus get to know potential collaborators and their needs on the labor market in advance.

“The Talente Aperitivos are the framework in which students and young people can enter into dialogue with South Tyrolean companies. The personal exchange and the company-specific information that the students receive are the great added value of this series of events,” explains WIFO Director Georg Lun.

The event is organized annually by WIFO in collaboration with the South Tyrolean Student Union (sh.asus) and the South Tyrolean Trainee and Student Interest Group (ISAS).
