There’s nothing like a sturdy pair of high boots to protect yourself when riding a motorcycle. The problem is that as protective as they are, they are not always the most comfortable once you get off your two-wheeler. It is therefore no coincidence that motorcyclists increasingly favor motorcycle sneakers.
More comfortable and above all more “go-anywhere”, sneakers suitable for motorcycling have experienced significant growth over the last decade. The Italian equipment manufacturer Stylmartin has also made a specialty of it by developing a wide range with sometimes audacious designs. For 2022, the transalpine brand is adding a new model to its catalog with the Doubles.
The Double sneakers take their name from their two-tone appearance mixing black with a few touches of red to enhance the design without falling into flash. We thus find this color on the laces, supplied in two copies with one two-tone and the other totally red, but also on the non-slip sole, also two-tone.
For the rest, the Double is made of full-grain leather with water-repellent treatment. It has a waterproof membrane to keep feet dry and a mesh lining. Rising above the ankle, it is also equipped with injected PU protections on the malleolus on both sides of the foot. There is also leather selector protection and retro-reflective elements on the back.
PPE certified according to the EN13634:2017 standard, the Stylmartin Double sneakers are available in sizes 36 to 47 for 179 euros.
