The Public Ministry (MP) accused a couple of lovers of qualified murder in the attempted form and theft, who, in June 2019, stabbed another couple in Braga, following a family dispute.
In a note published today on its website, the Porto District Attorney General adds that the defendant will also be responsible for a crime of harm and a crime of offense to physical integrity.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office found it indicted that there was a loving relationship between the defendant and the defendant and that both maintained a disagreement that opposed them to the defendant’s brother and his wife.
On June 9, 2019, at 11:30 pm, the defendant and the defendant, motivated by that disagreement, moved to the victims’ residence in the city of Braga, going to the defendant armed with a 30 cm knife of lenght.
There was an argument in the middle of the public road, during which the defendant assaulted his brother and the defendant his wife, who took out the cell phone that she threw on the floor, spoiling him.
It also refers to the accusation that, managing to flee and take refuge at home, the accused “turned” to the victim who was being attacked by the defendant and “hit him several times” with the knife, on the abdomen, on the head and next to his right groin, “just not causing him to die because he was promptly rescued”.
In the course of the facts, the defendants will have taken over the victim’s purse, which contained 100 euros, in addition to personal documents.
