Three people were slightly injured. Two students were taken to hospital for a check-up after getting a chemical in their eyes. A victim with a head injury was treated at the scene by ambulance. Someone outside the school building also became unwell, ‘possibly because of all the consternation’. The fire service came to assess the damage. All students were given the rest of the day off.

“The incident logically has a major impact on the teachers and students who were present at the school. Good aftercare is being prepared by the school, the municipality and the security region,” according to the police.
