Struggling to Locate a Low-Riding Older Octavia with Unusually Low Mileage?

Thanks to its versatility, the Škoda Octavia is a car that often swallows kilometers in bulk for its owners. Nevertheless, it is possible to find pieces with a surprisingly low run-in.

For example, we were interested in two specimens that are currently for sale in Germany. In addition to the low number on the odometer, they are united by a similar body color, Ambition equipment and a 14-liter gasoline engine under the hood. Both are liftbacks, but they are two different generations.

The older car is the representative of the second generation from 2009, i.e. the version after the facelift. According to the seller, this piece has managed only 20,434 kilometers in almost 14 years of operation. And that’s really not enough.

The Liftback is supposed to be after the first owner and its equipment includes, for example, manual air conditioning, daytime running lights, fog lights, radio, CD player, electric front windows, central locking or cruise control.

The drive is provided by a naturally aspirated 1.4 MPI unit with 16 valves, providing a modest maximum power of 59 kW and a maximum torque of 132 Nm. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Octavia is on sale for 7,950 euros, which translates to about 190,000 crowns.

The newer Skoda already represents the third generation, it was registered in 2013. It therefore comes from the first year of production. Under the hood hides a turbocharged one-four with a power of 103 kW and a torque of 250 Nm, the 1.4 TSI unit is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

According to the seller, this soon-to-be 10-year-old car has only covered 22,600 kilometers so far. The equipment includes, for example, central locking, electric window control, manual air conditioning, on-board computer, fog lights, cruise control or electrically controlled side mirrors.

This piece is k having for 14,985 euros, i.e. about 360 thousand crowns.
