TRENTO. Strong thunderstorms are also arriving in Trentino since the afternoon, and the Civil Protection has issued a “yellow” alert.
“From 15:00 to 24:00 today, Friday 24 June 2022, on the whole provincial territory possible bad weather, an ordinary warning notice (yellow) was issued”.
The notice says: «In the afternoon, evening, and especially from 17:00 to 21:00 today, Friday 24 June 2022, and on the western sectors showers and thunderstorms moving towards the north-east are likely. Thunderstorms may result locally intense with abundant rainfall in a short timestrong gusts of wind, frequent lightning strikes and hail.
The Civil Protection has issued an ordinary alert (yellow) – for thunderstorms and hydrogeological, from 15:00 to 24:00 today, Friday 24 June 2022 throughout the provincial territory.
Problems due to:
– erosions and landslides in the hydrographic network, surface runoffs with possible phenomena of material transport, flooding, landslides and rapid flows;
– strong gusts of wind, hail and lightning strikes.
There may also be inconveniences and effects (including interruptions) on roads and overhead communication and service distribution networks ».
