Strengthening Cooperation, Chinese Foreign Minister Holds a Meeting with Coordinating Minister Luhut Binsar

YUNNAN, – Minister of Foreign Affairs China, Wang Yi met with Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan in the Province Yunnan, Southwest China on Friday (9/10/2020).

Launch Xinhua News, Saturday (10/10/2020) quoted, Coordinating Minister Luhut is a special envoy for the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo as well as acting as a coordinator Cooperation Indonesia and China.

By saying that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations China-Indonesia, Wang hopes both countries can strengthen cooperation in areas such as vaccines, e-commerce, artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence) and the exchange of culture and society.

To Coordinating Minister Luhut, Wang also said that the two countries must play a major role in upholding equality and justice.

Wang hopes that China and Indonesia will be able to uphold equality and justice, maintain multilateralism and democratize international relations.

Wang also hopes that these 2 friendly countries can jointly develop the economy quickly.

Meanwhile, to Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, Coordinating Minister for Luhut, said that Indonesia wanted to focus on efforts to strengthen vaccine and health cooperation with China.

For this reason, Indonesia and China are expected to be able to sign a cooperation document for the Belt and Silk Road Initiative and the World Maritime Axis as well as uphold multilateralism.
