The first episode of “Little Voice” is to premiere on July 10, the streaming service Apple TV + announced. Director JJ Abrams (“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalkers”) is on board with his company Bad Robot Productions.

The series accompanies young, talented artists, including Bess King (Brittany O’Grady), who want to try their luck on the New York music scene and want to make their dreams come true. The music comes from the songwriter and singer Sara Bareilles, the screenplay from the author Jessie Nelson, who also directed the first episode. In addition to O’Grady, Sean Teale and Chuck Cooper also starred in the drama romance.

Californian Bareilles (40) became famous in 2007 with the hit single “Love Song” from her album “Little Voice”. For the Broadway musical “Waitress” (2016), the musician has already worked with Jessie Nelson.
