Strategy consulting: Boston Consulting Group expands the management team

The automotive expert Alexander Brenner will head the aftermarket consulting for the Boston Consulting Group from the Hamburg location. In addition to the repair and spare parts business, the 43-year-old is also expanding other mobility offers such as leasing and vehicle insurance.

Alexander Brenner is moving from the management consultancy Roland Berger, where he was most recently responsible for the global “Automotive Aftermarket and Vehicle Lifecycle” division. In his 15 years at Roland Berger, Brenner advised his customers along the entire automotive value chain. The focus was on aftermarket projects for car and truck manufacturers, suppliers, workshops and spare parts dealers.

Alexander Brenner grew up in Chile and studied industrial engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago de Chile and International Business Administration at the University of Texas in Austin. His consulting career began in 2001 at PricewaterhouseCooper in Chile. From 2002 to 2005 he worked as a project manager at the software manufacturer ClassiX Software.
