A German national was arrested on Saturday after threatening prostitutes in Strasbourg with death. He threatened to “cut them like a butcher” and “eat” them.
“I am going to cut your throat, cut you into slices and eat you”. A 56-year-old German was arrested on Saturday January 15 after uttering death threats against several prostitutes. He was arrested in the Port-du-Rhin district of Strasbourg, in the Bas-Rhin.
A Bulgarian prostitute reportedly alerted the Strasbourg police by message on Saturday evening, according to information from our colleagues from Latest News from Alsace (DNA). In the presence of a friend, she tells the police that a man was threatening to kill them. “I’m going to cut your throat, cut you into slices and eat you” he would have thrown at them.
During his arrest, the German national reportedly threatened a police officer with death. According to DNA, a kitchen knife, a saw, a cutter, a hammer and a mallet were found in the trunk of his car. According to the first elements of the investigation, he would have threatened this prostitute and her friends for two months by telephone. He threatened to “cut them like a butcher” and “eat” them. After being tried on Tuesday, the suspect was placed in detention pending a psychiatric expertise and a new hearing on March 15.
