Strache is getting ready for the election campaign in Vienna

Former FPÖ leader and Vice-Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache will again be inviting to the Sofiensaal to present his new party next Friday – where he had made his first appearance after the Ibiza affair in January. The “Little Newspaper” reports. Strache announced at the end of April that it would present its new, Austria-wide citizens’ movement on May 15th.
The name and the program are also to be announced there. Strache had recently emphasized that the movement – which is currently still called “The Alliance for Austria” – would have his name in the title.

The ex-chief blue, he has also already announced, wants to compete in the Vienna election in autumn as the top candidate on the list, which must collect declarations of support in order to start. The alliance was founded in late 2019 by three breakaway Viennese FPÖ state mandates.
