Not much different in the municipal elections in Lower Austria, the Blue won only 486 mandates, 186 fewer than last.
While among the party edges the Ibizavideo and the expenses scandal of ex-party leader Heinz-Christian Strache responsible for the election debacle, the latter locates completely different reasons for the severe losses:
