Storms and floods have caused at least three deaths on the Italian island of Sardinia.
The island has been ravaged by strong winds and heavy rainfall since Friday. In the city of Bitti mudslides have formed and a bridge has collapsed. Electricity and telephone traffic has also failed in some places.
