It is one of the last appearances as Royals for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. The very last one is in Westminister Abbey at the solemn service for Commonwealth Day, always on the second Monday in March. Just over two months ago, the couple had announced that they would retire from their royal duties and want to live in Canada.
On Women’s Day, Meghan said to young women (and men): “I encourage you to make each other strong. Stand by you, stand for what is right, treat each other with respect. Young men, appreciate the women in your life, be an example of the men who don’t. “
The couple will forego the title “Royal Highness” in the future. The Queen had shown understanding for the young parents’ decision.
