Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks will release her new song on Friday. On Show Them The Way Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) can be heard on drums and Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) plays guitar.
Nicks wrote the song after the 2008 primaries, when Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton competed against each other. The 72-year-old singer says the song started as a poem and is “a prayer for her country,” said CNN.
This is her first new solo song since Nicks released the LP 24 Karat Gold released in 2014.
