Steven Van Herreweghe (43) is no longer together with his partner, art director Katrien Vanderlinden (34). The presenter made this known via Instagram. “We each go our own way. That is an incredibly difficult decision, because we love to see each other,” he writes with a photo of them together.
“Life happens to us and some curves hurt. But whoever lives in Aalst will notice that we continue our most beautiful project together: our fantastic children. So if you meet me with Katrien and the children on a terrace, in the park or in the cinema, know that there are two best friends who will always be there for each other. We are doing well,” he continues.
Their relationship has had some bumps in the road in the past. In 2015, the couple broke up and Van Herreweghe briefly had a relationship with the then MNM voice and current VTM face Julie Van den Steen (28), but a year later they came together again. In 2019 he revealed in the TV program Gert late night that “Katrien and he have been secretly engaged for three years”. Together they have two sons, Lenni and Flinn. (bpr)
