Stephen Jackson defends DeSean Jackson after anti-Semitic comments: “He is telling the truth”

Near George Floyd, Stephen Jackson has become one of the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement, but the former NBA champion has just stood out for a much less honorable exit…

DeSean Jackson, NFL player of the Philadelphia Eagles, is at the heart of a controversy for anti-Semitic remarks, called to order by his frankness, which has dissociated himself from the position of his player. On Instagram he published comments he falsely attributed to Adolf Hitler, then Louis Farrakhan, the anti-Semitic leader of the Nation of Islam, for whom he expressed his admiration.

“Because white Jews know that blacks are the real children of Israel and to keep America secret, they will blackmail America. They will extort America, but their plan for world domination will not work if black people know who they were “Jackson reporting words he thought were of Adolf Hilter.”

He deleted his posts and tried to explain that he is not anti-Semitic

“Anyone who thinks I hate the Jewish community has misinterpreted my message. I have no hatred in my heart towards anyone. ” DeSean Jackson

Then after his team’s press release, he apologized.

I want to apologize to the Jewish community, Jeffrey Lurie, Howie Roseman, Doug Pederson, the Eagles organization and our fans for the insidious and uninformed messages I shared on my social networks. My intention was to elevate, unite and encourage our culture positively. Unfortunately, this did not happen. I involuntarily injured the Jewish community and I am sorry for it. Now more than ever, we must work together to end discrimination of all kinds and against all people and communities. These excuses are more than just words – it is a promise to do better. I will educate myself and work with local and national organizations to be more informed and make a difference in our community. ” DeSean Jackson

Stephen Jackson then entered the track to defend the Eagles player, who he says is telling the truth.

“I just read the press release that the Philadelphia Eagles issued regarding DeSean Jackson’s comments. He was trying to educate himself, educate people, and he is telling the truth. Is not it ? He tells the truth. You know he doesn’t hate anyone, but he tells the truth about the facts he knows and tries to educate others. But you don’t want us to educate ourselves. If it’s black, you don’t say anything. They kill us, the police kill us and treat us like shit, it’s racism at its peak, but none of you, NFL owners have talked about it, none of you have talked about it . But there, the team that had a catcher [Riley Cooper] who has said the “n-word” publicly and offered an extension, takes a stand. I play for the BIG3 league. We have a Jewish owner. He understands our position and some of the things we say, but it’s not directed at him. This is how we were treated. ” Stephen Jackson

He deleted his video, but on a live Instagram, in a chat with someone, he maintained his position and swayed some racist stereotypes, like his “You know who the Rothschilds are? They control all the banks, they own all the banks. I haven’t said anything yet that isn’t true. ”

Note that he dotted his intervention with a few “Fuck Hitlers”, which does not change his speech, especially coming from someone who says he is fighting for equality and against racial injustice.
