Johnson Righeira, Sergio Japino, Hugo Maradona … It seems the beginning of a playlist that between music, TV and football plunges us back into the Eighties. Instead, they are the three VIPs who took to the field for the October administrative elections, with lists ranging from right to far left.

And if his brother points to the right, Diego junior, son of the Pibe, affirms that he could never support those who are with the League and with Meloni. He coaches Napoli United, Sergio D’Angelo’s team, at the head of a consortium of social cooperatives, which withdrew from the race for mayor to support Gaetano Manfredi. And always for the center-right, in the list of Vittorio Sgarbi who will support Enrico Michetti in the race for the Capitol, there will instead be Sergio Japino, director and screenwriter who made the history of tv, ed former partner of Raffaella Carr, to which I was next to the end.

The singer-songwriter Stefano Righi, known as Johnson Righeira by the musical duo of the same name, author of songs that are still cult today such as Vamos a la playa and Summer is ending is a candidate for municipal council of Turin. His name will appear in the civic list that together with the Communist Party supports the candidate for mayor Giusi Greta Di Cristina. I am a great friend of the PCI secretary Sergio Rizzo: I have always voted to the left, even if it is often more moderate – says Righeira to the Courier service -. But in truth I feel for a radical. I have no kind of political ambition, so much so that I hope not to be elected, also because I already have so many things to do. However, if I were to become a city councilor, my commitment would be all to support independent music.
