– Steer clear of ice with additives and rather make your own

She calls for consumer power to get two additives out of Norwegian ice cream. The EU Food Safety Authority has requested several studies on the effect of food additives.

Nutritional biologist and college lecturer Marit Kolby makes ice cream on the kitchen counter at home. After Kolby went against the industrial ice on Instagram and in podcasts, she has heard from many who will buy an ice machine to make homemade ice cream.

On the kitchen counter, a simple process is underway. Homemade ice cream should be made from eggs, whipped cream and a little sugar. And some pieces of chocolate as a flavoring.

First whisk the egg mixture, then add the cream and pour the mixture into the ice machine.
