State traffic watch wants to electrify with a new e-car campaign – Baden-Württemberg


Stuttgart. With the slogan “We explain, you drive!” And the “www.eAuto-aushaben.de” campaign sponsored by the Ministry of Transport, the Baden-Württemberg state traffic watch offers the opportunity to try out electric cars in an uncomplicated way in order to break down obstacles and prejudices. For this purpose, the Landesverkehrswacht puts 36 e-cars on the road and trains around 50 moderators who explain how an e-car works. They also offer the option of a test drive, show how the charging process works, and then obtain feedback on the test drive.

As a small present there is an e-car primer. The campaign will start as soon as the corona situation allows.

The volunteer e-car moderators offer the opportunity to try things out at highly frequented locations. 20 test drives are planned for each e-car per month. Interested parties also have the option of calling 0800110111999 or visiting the website www.eAuto-ausprobieren.de book a test drive.

“We want to get people excited about e-mobility, break down prejudices, make a contribution to reducing traffic noise and exhaust emissions and show how safe and relaxed you can drive with the assistance systems”, says the President of the State Traffic Watch Burkhard Metzger, who also owns an E -Car drives. Transport Minister Winfried Hermann (Greens), whose house is funding the campaign with 400,000 euros, says: “E-cars suitable for everyday use are no longer a dream of the future. The campaign by the state traffic watch in Baden-Württemberg shows that. ”The campaign is also supported by EnBW.
