In Arnstein, extensive street renovation work began at the beginning of September, with the laying of new canals and water pipes. From March the state road via Gramschatz to Wrzburg will be closed. Among other things, the entrance to the town and the bridge over the railway are affected. It is being renewed by the State Building Authority.
The lockdown should last until November 2021. There is a diversion via Schraudenbach and Zeuzleben. Gramschatz and the students who attend one of the Arnstadt schools are particularly affected. There should be less through traffic in Gramschatz. Another construction phase, which will be carried out in 2022, no longer affects the state road.
