The State Post Bureau stated that during the Spring Festival this year, the delivery demand of local people during the Chinese New Year increased significantly, and postal express was operating at a high level. The total network collection was about three times that of the same period last year, and the delivery volume was 3-4 times. Bian Zuodong, deputy director of the Market Supervision Department of the State Post Bureau, introduced that due to the dual effects of increased supply-side reserve capacity and strong demand for economic shopping on the demand side, the Spring Festival express delivery business volume has shown a growth trend. Bian Zuodong said: “During the Spring Festival this year, the proportion of e-commerce express mail has increased significantly compared with last year. In terms of regions, the fastest year-on-year growth in the overall network collection and delivery was in the central region, with an increase of 359% and 260% respectively. In Henan, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Zhejiang and other provinces, the year-on-year growth rates of pickup and delivery have all exceeded 300%.
