Starting Monday, July 12, 2021, KAI Implements New Regulations for Commuter, Local and Agglomeration Train Travel

SEPUTARTANGSEL.COM – Starting tomorrow, Monday 12 July 2021, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) will implement new regulations for all Commuter, Near/Local and Agglomeration train trips.

The regulation based on the Circular of the Ministry of Transportation is intended for travel for essential sector offices and critical sectors related to the implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

Among these regulations regulate the obligation of prospective passengers for Commuter, Near/Local and Agglomeration Trains to show a worker registration certificate (STRP).

If there is no STRP, you can show another certificate, issued by the local government or a letter of assignment signed by the head of the company or an official at least echelon 2 (for the government).

Ministry of Transportation Circular No. 50 of 2021 states, the letters mentioned above must have a wet stamp or electronic signature. ⁣⁣

Cancellations can be made a maximum of H+7 from the departure date stated on the ticket. Customs refunds are given 100 percent, excluding custom duties.
