Apple Inc. formerly Apple Computer, Inc., is an American manufacturer of personal computers, computer peripherals, and computer software.

Quoted from Britannica, Saturday (10/7), Apple is the first successful personal computer (PC) company and has popularized the graphical user interface.

Apple Inc. It all started with Stephen G. Wozniak’s dream of building his own computer—a dream that suddenly became possible with the first commercially successful microcomputer in 1975, the Altair 8800, which came as a kit and used the newly invented microprocessor chip.

Jobs and Wozniak were introduced in 1971 by a mutual friend, Bill Fernandez, who would later become one of Apple’s earliest employees. The two Steves hit it off right away because they love technology and jokes.

The two friends also used their technological know-how to create ‘blue boxes’ that could make free long-distance calls, according to a MacWorld report.

Apple’s first office was a garage. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak worked in Jobs’ garage.

They debuted the Apple I as a desktop computer with a single motherboard, pre-assembled, and unlike any other PC of the era.

Then, the Apple II was introduced a year later (1977). This Apple II offers a color display and other features that make Wozniak’s creation the first attractive microcomputer to most people.

Even though Jobs was a newbie in the business world, he understood that if a company was to grow, it required professional management and substantial funding.

He convinced Regis McKenna, a renowned public relations specialist for the semiconductor industry, to represent the company.

Jobs also secured investment from Michael Markkula, a wealthy veteran of the Intel Corporation who became Apple’s largest shareholder and an influential member of Apple’s board of directors.
