KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. A total of 1,280 people in Secapa AD, Bandung confirmed positive Covid-19 to date. This finding was revealed starting with two soldiers or student officers who checked their illness at Dustira Hospital.
Army Chief of Staff General TNI Andika Perkasa said the incident occurred two weeks ago.
“So exactly two weeks ago was the first report from the Commander of the Army Officer Candidate School to me on Saturday as well. Starting from an actual accident. So there were two soldiers or student officers who went to the Dustira Hospital. The Dustira Hospital was an Army hospital. the largest in West Java, is in this city, “said Andika.

The two soldiers initially did not intend to have Covid-19 examined. Because they do not have symptoms that lead to corona.
“The one complaint because of ulcers, means fever due to infection and another spinal problem. But it turns out they are civilized and positive,” Andika added.
After the findings, all Secapa AD students were examined by rapid test equipment sent by Andika from Jakarta. Found many positive cases From 1,400 rapid test kits that were sent, the results were 187 people declared reactive. The results were then followed up with a swab test.
“From there we want to make sure, we do a swab. I send VTM to Kakesdam. VTM is a tool for swabs. Well, I send and then do a swab, do a test in the PCR laboratory from where it was finally found,” he said.
Tracing continues, the latest data on positive patients from Covid-19 in Secapa AD now number 1,280 people. They consisted of 991 student officers, 289 staff and members and families of Secapa AD.

Of all these patients, all were classified as mild.
“The category is mild, there is no moderate or severe category. As of today there are still 17 treated at the Dustira Hospital, the rest are in Secapa. Of the 17, one is negative and 16 is still positive, but all of them have no symptoms whatsoever. “The negative one remains there because it is indeed a problem of tuberculosis or the lungs,” Andika explained.
Because they are asymptomatic patients, most of them do not feel anything. “The rest that I met just now in Secapa. I asked one by one, I took three random and there was no coordination at all. I asked ‘what is felt actually? What was felt absolutely nothing,” Andika said.
