Russian large chain stores, which are officially engaged in the sale of Apple technology, have quietly raised prices for goods. For example, the iPhone 11 at the start in September 2019 cost 60 thousand rubles, now it is sold for 62 thousand.
–
The jump may seem insignificant, but it is right to consider the difference not from 60 thousand rubles, but from 50-55 thousand, because smartphones were periodically sold at a discount. And now the stores have refused all sales and additional favorable conditions and bonuses. Therefore, in fact, prices increased by about 10-15%.
–
How prices have changed:
–
Prices simultaneously rose in M. Video / Eldorado, Svyaznoy, Euroset, Citylink, Re: Store, DNS and other official stores. At the same time, everyone has a different price, for example, in DNS the same iPhone 11 is sold for 64 thousand, and in Re: Store – for 63 thousand.
–
It seems that Apple has changed the purchase prices and the recommended retail price for its partners in Russia. Hi-Tech Mail.ru sent a request to major Russian stores, but at the time of publication did not receive a response. Prices still rose slightly, given that the ruble fell by about a third against the euro and the dollar. So, perhaps this is only the first stage in raising the price of equipment in Russia.
