Start of the new season of the men’s Bundesliga

Of
German Tennis Association
5. 7. 2021.

There are over 30 top 100 players in the world on the entry lists. There are also top-class players such as US Open winner Dominic Thiem, Chilean Cristian Garin and Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut. In addition to the numerous ATP stars from abroad, there are also plenty of top players from Germany in the Bundesliga. Jan-Lennard Struff plays for the TC Großhesselohe and high-flyer Dominik Koepfer serves for Mannheim. With Mischa Zverev and the two-time French Open double winners Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies, other well-known German players are also involved. However, who will ultimately play also depends on the tournaments.

All information and game results of the Tennis Bundesliga can be found here.

Means: who gets how far in which tournament? That is the question the team bosses and fans ask themselves during the week. And it was also a reason to postpone the Bundesliga a bit this year. Because the corona virus makes planning difficult. That would have been the regular start of the league last Sunday. Due to the entry regulations from England, where Wimbledon is currently taking place, it was decided to postpone the first matchday. So the season starts on Friday – with some exciting games!

The reigning German champion Grün-Weiss Mannheim is now going into the season against newly promoted Tennis Ewige Liebe BW Neuss in front of their own backdrop. League newcomer Rosenheim welcomes the traditional Rochusclub Düsseldorf and a little further to the northeast, Team Hämmerling TuS Sennelager welcomes championship contender Badwerk Gladbacher HTC. Another title contender comes from the south of Germany: The TC Großhesselohe. The team of manager Christopher Kas has to go to Cologne’s THC stadium Rot-Weiss on the first day of the match. However, the absolute top match at the beginning will take place in Aachen. Kurhaus Lambertz Aachen plays against HTC Blau-Weiss Krefeld there – two teams that should definitely have a chance of playing at the top.

All games of the men’s tennis Bundesliga are live and exclusive on the Tennis Channel International

If you want to see world-class tennis and cannot be there, you can watch all the games live via stream. Tennis Channel will broadcast all singles and doubles this year. The only streaming provider in the world that focuses exclusively on tennis takes the broadcast of the Tennis-Point-Bundesliga to a new level, because: The top game is broadcast on the Center Court with three cameras and German commentary.
