Thanks to Disney Plus, Obi-Wan Kenobi fans will soon be able to celebrate the reunion with their favorite Jedi. It looks like the Obi-Wan series won’t be the only reason to see Ewan McGregor as a Jedi again. Allegedly, this should also play in another Star Wars series.
Disney + is a blessing, especially for Marvel and Star Wars fans. Various series are planned for the two universes over the next few years and pretty much every fan will get their money’s worth. In the Star Wars cosmos alone, series from a wide variety of genres have been announced. In addition to “The Mandalorian”, which partly feels like a western, “Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi” is a more classic adventure. But espionage fans also have something to look forward to. “Andor” is about Cassian Andor, a secret service agent of the rebellion. “The Acolyte” should turn out to be a dark mystery thriller.
So there will be plenty of “Star Wars” supplies for Disney + customers in the next few years. The fans are particularly excited about the Obi-Wan series. The reunion with Ewan McGregor is eagerly awaited. It seems that fans are getting to see the Jedi Master a second time. Apparently, McGregor will slip into his most iconic role for the series “Andor” as well.
This rumor has not yet been confirmed, let alone spread by a reputable site, but it can still be very good, because with “The Mandalorian” Disney proved that they like to link their new series with well-known heroes. After Obi-Wan’s foster son Luke Skywalker was seen in the first “Star Wars” series on Disney +, it may well be that Obi-Wan will not only get one opportunity to show himself.
When exactly we will finally see Obi-Wan again is not yet entirely clear. Both “Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi” and “Andor” should start in the first half of 2022.
