The sequel will be directed by Stig Asmussenresponsible of Jedi: Fallen Order, and takes place five years after the events of the original game. There are several important details to highlight in the teaser of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The first is that Cal Kestis’ lightsaber is in the possession of the Grand Inquisitor, probably after losing it in battle. One scene shows a mysterious character floating inside a container, likely a Jedi who survived the purge of the Empire.

If we remember, Cal Kestis escapes with his life from a confrontation with Darth Vader and reunites with his allies, Greez, Cere and Merrin.

The first game concludes with a cutscene where Kestis obtains from the Holocron a list of children who could become Jedi. Confident that his fate should be decided by the Force, the protagonist destroys the artifact so that it does not fall into the hands of the Empire.
