Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford went into the locker room in the first quarter of Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to an ankle injury.

It is currently questionable whether Stafford can return. Chase Daniel has replaced him as quarterback.

The veteran has been playing with rib and thumb injuries lately, despite Detroit being eliminated from the playoffs.

Stafford has thrown passes for 3,774 yards and 23 touchdowns at nine interceptions in 14 games this season. He attached two passes for 17 yards before being eliminated on Saturday.

Daniel has already appeared in three games this season.
