Stadium turf in Spain vandalized by ‘motor vehicle’: now see


In the early hours of Thursday, someone entered the turf of the El Sardinero stadium, home of Racing Santander, and vandalized the pitch using a “motor vehicle”.

Real Racing Santander, a club that militates in the third division of Spanish football, announced that the turf at the El Sardinero stadium was vandalized, in the early hours of Wednesday to Thursday, by a “motor vehicle”.

The pitch was “severely damaged”, especially near one of the goals and “caused great damage”, as the club “had just carried out maintenance work” on the green carpet. Racing Santander, which welcomes Unionistas de Salamanca on Saturday, has quickly started to carry out recovery work.
