Dupont Confirmed to Miss Sharks Clash, Graou to Start at Scrum-half
Stade Toulousain enters the European Cup season seeking redemption after thier semi-final defeat by UBB last year. The six-time champions will host the Sharks this weekend, but captain Antoine Dupont will not feature in the starting lineup.
Despite returning from a serious knee injury last weekend against Racing, Dupont will remain on the sidelines as a precaution. paul graou will start at scrum-half alongside Romain Ntamack.
Toulouse faces a number of absences including Pierre-Louis Barassi, Peato Mauvaka, François cros, Théo Ntamack, and Juan Cruz Mallia. However, the team boasts meaningful returning talent with Alexandre roumat and Jack Willis expected to join Anthony Jelonch in the back row. Emmanuel Meafou and Thibaud Flamend will form the second row, supported by the front row of Rodrigue Neti, Julien Marchand, and Joel Merkler.
In the backs, paul Costes and Kalvin Gourgues will partner in the centers, with Thomas Ramos at full-back. The right wing position remains open between Teddy Thomas and Blair Kinghorn, while Ange Capuozzo is set to start on the left wing.
