One individual was stabbed – fatally – in the neck, while riding aboard a subway car approaching Penn Station.
According to preliminary reports, it is a random act of violence.

The incident happened shortly after midnight on a subway line 2 train, which was traveling north.
The suspect apparently attacked the victim for no reason as the train entered the 34th Street station.
The victim was taken to the hospital where his death was declared.
The suspect remains at large after fleeing the scene once the train reached Penn Station.
