St vd ⁤Brink Expands‌ Netherlands Footprint ⁢with Acquisition of Euser ⁣Special Transport

ERMELO, Netherlands – St vd Brink, a leading transport company, today announced the acquisition‌ of Euser‌ Special Transport, ⁤based in‌ Heinenoord. This strategic move considerably strengthens⁢ St vd Brink’s position in the Dutch ‌construction transport sector,‍ bringing ‌its total number of construction transport ‌locations across the Netherlands to ⁣eight ‍and enabling more centralized operations.

The acquisition comes amidst ⁤a wave of consolidation within the construction transport industry, with St vd ⁣Brink⁤ actively expanding its network since 2023, following similar moves involving Jan Hofman Transport, Land ‌Transport, Bremer Transport, De Jong Transport, Van der Werf Transport, and Kaspers Transport.

A ⁢Family Legacy Continues

For Gerrit Euser, who led Euser Special Transport for 33 years, the decision to seek a buyer came as his children expressed no interest in taking over the family business. He found ‍a fitting successor ⁤in St vd Brink,⁢ another ⁢long-standing family-owned company with over 80 years of history. A key factor in the agreement, according to Euser, was a commitment from St ‌vd Brink’s‍ General Director, Alex van den Brink, to maintain the Euser Special ⁣Transport location, company name, and existing ⁢fleet.

“I was looking‌ for an organization that shared‍ our values and would respect⁤ the legacy ‌we’ve built,” said Euser. “Alex van den⁢ Brink gave me the assurance that Euser Special transport would continue to thrive as a vital part of the St vd⁤ Brink network.”

Strategic Expansion⁣ for National⁤ Coverage

Alex van den ‍Brink explained‍ the rationale behind the acquisition, stating, “I firmly believe ‌construction ⁤activity will increase in the coming years, and having a strong national presence is crucial. Heinenoord is a strategically important location near Rotterdam, allowing us to better serve our clients and efficiently manage operations from our eight locations across⁢ the Netherlands: ⁢Ermelo,Heinenoord,Amsterdam,Vroomshoop,Harkema,Burum,Bakhuizen, and Workum.”
