The SSV Freiburg swimmers are no longer dry. They have been training in Merzhausen since Tuesday. The city of Freiburg holds out the swimmers for coach Gerhard Hasler.
The Bürgerbad in Merzhausen is the new hotspot for swimming in Breisgau. Since Tuesday, the top swimmers of the SSV Freiburg have also nested in the privately operated 25-meter pool of the Freiburg municipality for training purposes. Matthias Kaufhold spoke to SSV youth trainer Gerhard Hasler about the eleven-week Corona break, the move from the city and the sluggishness of Freiburg’s baths.
