Morelia, Michoacán (OEM – Infomex) In order to make timely diagnoses of breast cancer in women between the ages of 40 and 69, the Ministry of Health of Michoacán (SSM) will hold a day of free mammograms in Puruándiro and Morelia.
The studies will be carried out from Tuesday, March 21 to 23, in the municipality of Puruándiro, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled at the facilities of the DIF municipal, located in the Mariano de La Piedra 300, Centro neighborhood.
In Morelia, the studies will be carried out permanently throughout the year in the Specialties unit Doctors in Detection and Diagnosis of Breast Cancer (Uneme Dedicam) in a schedule from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00 hours.

The requirements for the users it is to carry a copy of the official ID with a photograph, to wear comfortable clothes on the day of the study and not to wear earrings or metallic accessories.
The results will be delivered within a period of 15 to 21 business days after the mammography, if positive, the patient can be referred to the State Oncology Care Center (CEAO) to carry out specialized studies and to know the stage in which the disease is found.
